Get Your Motor Running at the Sunset Cliffs Auto Show

San Diego’s most scenic car show is back, and it’s bringing classic cars, custom builds, and hot rods right to the coast in Ocean Beach for its 4th year.

If you love cars and coastal views, this is basically the perfect combination. Bring your camera, because between the vehicles and the backdrop, you’re going to want to remember this one.

Classic Cars, Custom Builds, and Coastal Views

This year’s lineup covers the full spectrum of what makes a car worth showing off: new, old, historical, modern, restored, and rare.

Whether you’re a die-hard gearhead or just someone who appreciates a good-looking ride, there’s something here to catch your eye. It all takes place along Point Loma Avenue at Sunset Cliffs Boulevard, and it’s completely free to attend.

AW Productions is stepping in as a new presenting sponsor this year, joining longtime host Hodad’s Ocean Beach to help bring the whole day to life, and that partnership is already shaping up to make this one of the biggest editions yet.

Breakfast, Bands, and a Whole Lot More

The morning kicks off with the OB Pancake Breakfast, setting the tone before the cars even roll in. Once the show gets going, expect live music from the Sandollar Band and The Juke$ Band, a full field of vehicles to browse, and plenty of food trucks and local vendors lining the coast.

The Kids Zone keeps the whole family entertained with Power Wheels Races, a Hot Wheels Derby, the Win or Lose 3-Point Competition, and Gulls Hockey for local residents, plus adoptable dogs on-site if you’re in the market for a new best friend.

Raffle prizes worth more than $700 add even more incentive to stick around, and the day wraps with an Awards Ceremony recognizing the top three vehicles.

Once the show officially ends, the fun keeps going with Ocean Beach after-parties and community booths around the neighborhood.

Bring Your Own Car to the Show

If you’re bringing your own car, apply online before the show fills up, space is limited and day-of entries won’t be accepted. Every accepted vehicle gets a Sunset Cliffs Auto Show T-shirt to commemorate the day.

It’s a small perk, but a fun one to show off long after the engines have cooled down.
