Taste Your Way Through Logan Heights at the Taste of Imperial Avenue

Logan Heights Community Development Corporation, alongside the Greater Logan Heights Small Business Advisory Group, is inviting the community out for the fifth annual Taste of Imperial Avenue.

It’s a celebration of the restaurants, small businesses, and cultural traditions that make Logan Heights one of San Diego’s most distinct neighborhoods. Five years in, this thing just keeps getting better.

Bite by Bite Down Imperial Avenue

More than 20 local food vendors line Imperial Avenue for this one, and honestly, that’s the whole point.

Grab a self-guided tasting map and wander at your own pace, sampling signature bites and drinks that reflect the diverse cultures that call Logan Heights home.

Between bites, expect live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and plenty of reasons to slow down and take it all in.

From the Street to the Party

The night unfolds in two parts. First, check-in and the restaurant tastings take over Imperial Avenue, giving you time to work your way through the vendor lineup.

Then everyone regroups at Gilliam Place, where a beer garden, live music, a small business marketplace, and a community gathering space take the night home.

It’s the kind of evening where the food gets you in the door and the community keeps you there.

A Bigger Purpose Behind the Bites

This one’s about more than good food. Hosted by Logan Heights CDC and the Greater Logan Heights Small Business Advisory Group, Taste of Imperial Avenue is built to shine a light on the small businesses and entrepreneurs that make Greater Logan Heights what it is.

By pulling in visitors from across San Diego, the event helps support local businesses, strengthen community connections, and put the neighborhood’s culture on full display.

Two Ways to Get in

Two ticket options are on the table: Food Tasting Only for $30, or go all in with Food + Beer for $40.
