The Capital of Craft Beer Festival Kicks Off San Diego Beer Week
San Diego Beer Week is back, and it’s kicking off in the best way possible – with unlimited craft beer tastings, live music, and that perfect November weather we love to brag about.
The Capital of Craft Beer Festival (you might remember it as the Brewers Guild Fest) takes over the San Diego Harley Davidson Festival Grounds this Saturday, and if you’re a fan of locally brewed beer, this is where you need to be.
Over 80 San Diego Brews to Sample
We’re talking unlimited 2oz tastings from more than 80 San Diego craft beers and spirits, all served up in your commemorative cup. The lineup includes everything from classic IPAs to experimental brews that push the boundaries of what beer can be.
Whether you’re a hophead or prefer something smooth and malty, there’s plenty to explore. The full list of festival beers, including those special VIP-only options, is available online so you can plan your tasting strategy ahead of time.

Speaking of VIP – those tickets are almost gone, and for good reason. For an extra $15, you get an additional hour at the festival, early entry to beat the crowds, and access to exclusive beers that general admission folks won’t get to try. Flash Pants, billed as the best ’80s band in the country, will be bringing the nostalgia all day long. And when they take a break, DJ Twon Burgundy keeps things moving with beats that match the festival energy.
