The Nat Celebrates 150 Years With Epic Birthday Bash
Our beloved San Diego Natural History Museum (The NAT) is turning 150, and they’re inviting all of us to join The Big Birthday Block Party—a tribute to a century and a half of inspiring wonder and curiosity about our natural world.
Free Fun for Everyone
Free admission is just the tip of the iceberg. This party is pulling out all the stops with family activities, live tunes, tasty treats, and refreshing drinks.
This event isn’t just about The Nat. The whole Balboa Park crew is getting in on the action. Expect to see familiar faces from the Fleet Science Center and San Diego History Center, along with a bunch of environmental organizations ready to share their passion for our planet.
Sneak Peeks and Party Animals
Get ready for some exclusive peeks! We’re talking a brand-new Paleontology Center where you can watch real scientists at work. Plus, there’s a birthday hat scavenger hunt featuring the museum’s very own “party animals.” It’s education meets celebration!
See you there!
The Big Birthday Block Party at The NAT is happening on Saturday, October 19, from 10 AM to 3 PM at 1788 El Prado, Balboa Park. The party kicks off at 9:30 AM.
