Take A Culinary Trip To Paris With Bleu Bohème During San Diego Restaurant Week
Bleu Bohème located in Kensington at 4090 Adams Ave., invites San Diegans to take a culinary trip to Paris with a three-course menu available exclusively Sunday, March 26 through Tuesday, April 4 for San Diego Restaurant Week.
Owner and Executive Chef Ken Irvine will feature a three-course prix fixe dinner priced at $65 per person, with additional items available for a supplemental charge.
A Culinary Trip To Paris With Bleu Bohème
To begin, a choice of petit plats will include Gruyere dumplings with cremini mushrooms, asparagus, charred cherry tomatoes, romesco and beurre blanc; crab croquettes with jicama remoulade, tomato-rock salad and saffron aioli; French onion soup and more will be available.
Main course selections will include Shiitake and oyster mushroom raviolis with ratatouille, spinach, espelette, tomato relish, herbs and white wine cream sauce; braised beef short rib with blue cheese-red wine sauce, crispy parsnips, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and haricots verts; cassoulet of Hudson Valley Muscovy duck leg confit served with creamy goat cheese polenta, baby kale olive relish and sauce verte and more.
For an additional $8, guests may choose large dry-pack sea scallops served with saffron lobster risotto, linguiça, English peas, fennel and basil pistou.
End the Parisian experience on a sweet note with a choice between rich dark Callebaut chocolate mousse with seasonal red berries; crème brulée, rich vanilla custard with a crunchy sugar crust; warm gingerbread topped with strawberry confiture and caramel ice cream; and brioche bread pudding with caramelized apples, raisins and white chocolate.
