TrustedHousesitters To Host Easter Bark In The Little Italy Dog Park Benefitting Local Dog Rescue
TrustedHousesitters, the largest and most trusted vacation pet sitting community of its kind, is hosting an Easter fundraiser at the Little Italy Dog Park. The fundraiser will benefit The Animal Pad (TAP), a 100% volunteer-based local non-profit, all breed dog rescue focusing on saving dogs from high kill shelters and the streets of Mexico.

Lots of fun in store
Attendees and their furry friends will be treated to complimentary caricatures from PoisonousMe, yummy treats for the pups and fun prizes! Upon arrival, every dog entering the Little Italy Dog Park will get their picture taken and will be added to a donation board with a random number from 10-50. That number will be matched and dictate the donation given to The Animal Pad, on behalf of that pup (funded by TrustedHousesitters)!

A supportive community
“The community in Little Italy has always been so warm, welcoming and supportive,” said Angela Laws, award-winning community manager of TrustedHousesitters and fellow pet sitter. “We just knew this was the perfect place to host a fundraiser for The Animal Pad! The work they do to rescue dogs every day is incredible, and we hope this fundraiser helps support their cause so they can continue doing their amazing work!”
Having just inaugurated their newest addition to the Little Italy Dog Park last month, a shade structure for pups to rest between play time, TrustedHousesitters continues to constantly show up and support the local pet community. During the fundraiser, The Animal Pad will also be on-site educating attendees on their adoptions and foster programs, as well as have merch available with 100% of the proceeds going back to their cause. Pet parents and pet lovers alike are invited to attend the event. The more pups in attendance, the more pups get rescued!

A must-visit park for dogs
Little Italy is home to over 3,000 pups, many of them rescue pets, and its historic dog park is a must-visit for all pet owners. The park is a safe and enclosed space for dogs to play freely in the large dog park area or the Batta | Fulkerson small dog park area, and meet up with the other neighborhood dogs. It also offers shade-filled places for pet owners to sit, including community-sponsored benches, a well maintained surface, and delicious coffee from Caffe Caritazza.
