Especially when the fun comes with a great and meaningful cause: the fight to end domestic violence in San Diego.
Yes, it happens. Yes, in our fine city. But you can do something about it, and now is your chance.
On Saturday, October 14th, the YWCA’s Walk A Mile In Her Shoes event hosts hundreds of men who have strapped on high heels to walk and generate awareness for a topic that typically lies in the shadows.
These men will walk alongside women fighting to shed light on this topic – so by no means is it men-only. Bring all the men, women, friends and family in your life to help San Diego end domestic violence once and for all.
You can even build a team of heel-walkers and take the challenge to walk the extra mile!
Following the walk, attendees will celebrate their achievements with food, entertainment, and fun.
