A Winter Wonderland Is Coming To Lakehouse Hotel & Resort

The holiday season is quickly approaching and Lakehouse Hotel & Resort is turning sunny San Diego into a Winter Wonderland with its lineup of festive and fun-filled holiday activations!

Winter Wonderland at Lakehouse will make its debut on November 25 and will feature a 140-foot holiday light tunnel, 30-foot Christmas tree, an ice skating rink, exclusive igloo dining experiences, polar express hayrides, and more through January 1.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Lakehouse’s tree lighting ceremony will take place on November 25 at 6PM on the Lakeside Lawn. Guests can take a stroll under a magical 140-foot light tunnel, transporting them to a winter wonderland where a 30ft ornament tree stands and illuminates the entire property.

The tree lighting ceremony will also feature holiday-themed sips including hot chocolate for the kiddos and spiked cider for anyone 21+, an ugly sweater-themed ice skating session at the ice skating rink, an appearance from Santa Claus for photos and carolers spreading Christmas joy throughout the property.

Lakeside Ice Skating and Polar Express Hayrides

There will also be a lakeside ice skating rink and Polar Express Hayrides happening November 25 through January 1. Bundle up and head onto the rink for the lakeside ice skating experience open daily from 2PM to 9PM.

Tickets are available online HERE and at the rink for $10 for kids and $15 for adults and skate rentals are provided. For $3, guests can also experience Polar Express Hayrides, running on Fridays and Saturdays from 4PM to 9PM.

Lakeside Igloo Dining Experience

For those looking for a fun splurge this season, enjoy a luxurious private dining experience inside a luminous igloo complete with twinkle lights, charcuterie, and wine at Lakehouse Hotel & Resort. The experience includes a seasonal gourmet charcuterie board, dessert platter and two bottles of wine (red, white or sparkling).

The holiday dining experience is $400 and can be enjoyed with up to eight people and reserved Thursday-Sunday from November 25 to January 1 with reservation times at 1PM to 3PM, 4PM to 6PM and 7PM to 9PM. Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance and can be made here.
