Fierce & Kind Spirits Expands its Tempting Portfolio

Fierce & Kind Spirits announced some exciting news: the release of its Single Barrel Cask Strength Bourbon, a North Carolina straight bourbon whiskey distilled from sustainably sourced, locally grown grains.

Previously released as a limited-edition bottle in summer 2023, the expression has been added to Fierce & Kind’s permanent product line due to its extreme popularity. This new staple offering marks the brand’s third portfolio addition following its inaugural bourbon and vodka launch in 2023.

Fierce & Kind Single Barrel Cask Strength Bourbon

Fierce & Kind’s Single Barrel Cask Strength Bourbon is aged for two years and nine months in charred and toasted New American Oak barrels, resulting in a 110-proof bourbon.

This high-proof spirit offers a notably smooth drinking experience with layers of stone fruit, vanilla, and caramel flavors and a balanced heat.

During its initial limited release, the Single Barrel Cask Strength Bourbon won a prestigious gold medal at the 2023 Ascot Awards hosted by renowned bourbon critic Fred Minnick. Critics described the spirit as “sweet and nutty with caramel, cocoa, and a sneaky soft palate for a 55%.”

“We are thrilled to introduce this Single Barrel Cask Strength Bourbon as a permanent part of Fierce & Kind’s product portfolio,” said Basem Harb, founder and CEO of Fierce & Kind.

“Our goal was to create a high-proof spirit that appeals to bourbon hunters and beginners alike. We’re proud to share this spirit that speaks to both palates, honoring the depth and complexity of flavors while remaining approachable.”

Complementing its dedication to crafting high-quality, straightforward spirits, Fierce & Kind remains committed to supporting underserved entrepreneur communities through its foundation, The Fierce & Kind Equity Foundation.

As a minority- and woman-led brand, Fierce & Kind proudly donates 25% of its profits to the foundation, fueling educational and economic opportunities in historically underserved spaces.

“True to our name, this fierce new spirit helps drive our mission to spread kindness by building economic opportunities and entrepreneurship in underserved communities,” said Cyndi Smith, co-founder and chief administrative officer of Fierce & Kind.

“Every bottle purchased contributes 25% of the profits back to the community, making our Single Barrel Cask Strength Bourbon a drink you can feel good about.”
