Fort Oak Brings Back Holiday Lunch Service

Fort Oak is opening for midday service during two select weekends in December, and if you’ve been looking for an excuse to take a long lunch and enjoy the holidays, Chef Brad Wise just gave you one.

The Mission Hills spot is decking out in holiday style and serving kitchen favorites alongside festive new dishes, with a special cocktail menu from Jess and Ben rolling around with his infamous champagne cart stocked with rare vintages and fancy labels.

The Setup

This isn’t your typical business lunch. Fort Oak is cranking up the tunes, throwing a raucous lunch service, and creating the kind of atmosphere that makes your out-of-office message stay up for the rest of the day. Chef’s putting together a special menu for the occasion, so you’re getting more than just the regular lunch offerings.

It’s positioned as “the lunch that makes dinner jealous,” which pretty much captures the vibe they’re going for – get a little tipsy and toasty during the day while everyone else is stuck at their desk.

Why This Works

Fort Oak, calling this “San Diego’s favorite holiday tradition,” suggests they’ve been doing this for a while. The midday timing hits different than evening service – there’s something indulgent about champagne and a full meal at noon on a weekday that feels more celebratory than just another dinner out.

The champagne cart with rare vintages and fancy labels adds a layer of special occasion energy. Combined with the festive new dishes and special cocktail menu, you’re getting a complete holiday experience.

See you there!

Set your out-of-office, grab your friends or colleagues, and spend a few hours at Fort Oak celebrating the season the way it’s supposed to be celebrated – with good food, rare champagne, and zero guilt about day-drinking.

📆 December 11 – 13 & December 18 – 20 (Thu-Sat both weekends), 11 AM – 2 PM
