Four Kombucha Holiday Cocktails That Is A Must-Try For This Merry Season

Sprinkle in a little more holiday cocktails cheer!

It’s the one time of year you can really be extra: trees inside houses, ugly sweater contests, same movies on repeat, loads of sugary cookies, strings of sparkling lights, and lots of holiday cheer (drinks).

Kombucha Holiday Cocktails The Boochcraft Way

We’ve created 4 kombucha cocktail recipes for the holidays that are festive, delicious, easy, and beautiful. Though it may not be as easy as simply pouring a glass of Boochcraft, we promise you it will be worth the “extra” effort.

It’s important to note you’ll always add Boochcraft to these recipes at the end so the bubbles stay bubbly! All of these ingredients are available organically.

Cherry Pecan Sparkle

Ingredients:

0.5 oz vodka

1 oz amaretto

0.75 oz cherry juice

2.5 oz Ginger Lime Rosehips Boochcraft

pecans

sugar

sea salt

Directions:

Set aside Boochcraft. Blend together 4 parts pecans, 1 part sugar and a pinch of sea salt and rim rocks glass (scroll below for how to rim a glass). Shake remaining ingredients together. Pour into your rimmed glass over ice and top with Ginger Lime Rosehips Boochcraft.

Santa’s Fireplace Spritzer

Ingredients:

1.25 oz spiced rum + small amount for rum soaked cranberries

2 drops vanilla extract

0.5 oz lemon juice

1 oz ginger beer

1.5 oz Apple Lime Jasmine Boochcraft

fresh cranberries

Directions:

**Make rum cranberries a day in advance by soaking fresh cranberries in spiced rum for 24-36 hours.

Combine 1.25 oz rum, vanilla, and lemon juice in shaker with ice. Strain into rocks glass over fresh ice and top with ginger beer and Boochcraft. Grab your soaked cranberries, strain remaining rum and toss the cranberries in sugar. Give the drink a quick stir and garnish with a mint sprig and your rum soaked sugared cranberries (the more the merrier;)!

Rosemary Pomegranate Gin Fizz

Ingredients:

1.25 oz gin

0.75 oz pomegranate juice

1.75 oz Ginger Lime Rosemary Boochcraft

2-3 mint leaves

pinch of fresh rosemary

Directions:
Shake together all ingredients except Boochcraft. Yes, shake mint leaves and rosemary! Double strain into a martini glass (to remove mint and rosemary) and top with Boochcraft. Garnish with a fresh sprig of rosemary. For a fun variation, squeeze pomegranate rubies into the martini.

Very Merry Whiskey

Ingredients:

1.5 oz rye whiskey

2 oz Grapefruit Hibiscus Heather Boochcraft

4-5 dashes orange bitters

0.75 oz cranberry juice

1 sugar cube

orange slices

Directions:
Set aside Boochcraft. Muddle together orange bitters and the sugar cube then stir together with ice, cranberry juice, and whiskey. Strain in a rocks glass over a large ice cube and top with Boochcraft. Garnish with an orange wheel!

How to Rim a Glass

You will need:

2 small plates

ground pecans

sugar

sea slat

amaretto

Directions:

Pour a small puddle of amaretto (or desired liquid) on a small plate. Blend together 4 parts pecans, 1 part sugar and a pinch of sea salt. Then place mixture on the second small plate. Dip your glass into the amaretto and then carefully dip into pecan mixture. Voila! Experiment with different flavors and combinations!
