This April, the Nature Collective events calendar is packed with opportunities to get outside and connect with the wild beauty of San Diego’s coastline.

Hosted by the San Diego nonprofit known for its hands-on conservation and community education work, these four free events offer something for everyone—from family outings to restorative volunteering.

Family Fun Day (Best for ages 9 and under)

April 19: Queer Roots Habitat Restoration Day

Open to everyone, this 2SLGBTQ+ focused event brings together community, restoration work, and a celebration of Earth Week. Expect habitat planting, storytelling circles, and a shared mission of healing and inclusion.
