Sun’s Out, Fun’s Out – Frontwave Arena is Loaded With Things to Do This Spring and Summer

Oceanside’s Frontwave Arena is shaping up to be one of the county’s most exciting destinations this spring and summer. From live boxing and indoor football to country music, World Cup watch parties, and youth soccer camps, there’s something for just about everyone.

Indoor Football That’ll Have You on Your Feet

The San Diego Strike Force are back for their second season in the Indoor Football League, building on a strong 2025 playoff run.

Eight home games are on the schedule from March through July, with themed nights and matchups against teams from Quad City, Las Vegas, Arizona, Tucson, and more. It’s fast, it’s loud, and it’s one of the most fun live sports experiences in San Diego County.

A Boxing Night Worth Showing Up For

On April 18, SD Fight Night brings professional boxing to Frontwave Arena with a solid lineup of rising prospects and established fighters.

The evening is headlined by San Diego natives JuJu Ballo and Jonny Mansour – both known for their commanding presence in the ring. It’s a great excuse to get a group together for something a little different.

Six Rising Female Country Artists, One Unforgettable Night

On May 29, 103.7 KSON is bringing six of country’s most exciting rising voices together for an intimate acoustic evening at Frontwave Arena.

Lauren Alaina, Ashley Cooke, Alexandra Kay, Taylor Austin Dye, Jenna Paulette, and Lakelin Lemmings will perform each other’s songs and share the stories behind them.

Catching artists like these before they’re headlining arenas on their own is exactly the kind of experience that sticks with you.

MMA Goes Global This Summer

July 11 brings “International War Games” to Frontwave Arena – an MMA event headlined by a USA vs. Russia matchup, with fighters representing South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, China, Japan, and Israel.

Every athlete on the card has served their country, making this a meaningful tribute to military veterans alongside elite competition. It will also air live as a pay-per-view broadcast.

The World Cup is Coming to Oceanside

Starting June 11, Frontwave Arena transforms into a community watch party destination for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Expect live match screenings, fan activations, and the kind of electric atmosphere that makes watching soccer with a crowd so much better than watching it at home. More dates and details are still to come, so keep an eye on the link below.

Keep the Kids Active With a Summer Soccer Camp

The San Diego Sockers are running indoor soccer camps at Frontwave Arena for kids ages seven to 12, across three sessions in July and August.

Each session runs Monday through Thursday, 9 AM to 1 PM, covering skill development, drills, and live game play in a fun, encouraging environment. At $350 per week, campers go home with a t-shirt, team towel, water bottle, and drawstring bag.
