Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center Makes Its Grand Debut in Chula Vista

There’s a new reason to head south this summer: the long-awaited Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center officially opened its doors today in Chula Vista—and it’s already redefining the SoCal resort scene.

This is the first-ever California location for Gaylord Hotels and the sixth in the brand’s portfolio, bringing with it a massive 1,600-room coastal escape with 12 dining concepts, a 4.25-acre waterpark, luxe spa, and more than 477,000 sq. ft. of event space—making it the largest hotel convention center in the state.
