Godfathers Of Latin Jazz: A Salute To Dizzy Gillespie And Chano
In 1947, jazz master, Dizzy Gillespie, invited Cuban conguero, Chano Pozo, to participate in the Carnegie Hall concert (and subsequent European tour) that launched the modern Latin Jazz movement worldwide. Our program celebrates that key collaboration and features some of today’s most exciting jazz musicians.
