GoodBar’s Good Jokes Comedy Series Lineup Heats Up This July

GoodBar, Point Loma’s popular neighborhood bar located at 1872 Rosecrans St, has announced a hot new lineup of stand-up comedians set to take the stage on Wednesdays during its Good Jokes comedy series this July.

GoodBar will play host to a rotating lineup of comedians who have toured across the country and have appeared on hit television shows, including “The Late Late Show with James Cordon” and on Comedy Central.

Julian Michael | July 13

GoodBar will welcome Julian Michael on Wednesday, July 13. Signed to Uproar Records in 2017, Michael has received standing ovations and brought unfiltered laughter to audiences of all backgrounds with his live comedy album, Insert Token. He’s also appeared as a writer and performer for Amazon Prime’s “Out on Stage: The Movie” and the first-ever stand-up comedy series featuring all queer comedians, “Out on Stage: The Series.”

Ahmed Al-kadri | July 20

Ahmed Al-kadri, who has appeared on FOX’s “Love Connection,” will perform on Wednesday, July 20. Having previously worked as an accountant, Al-kadri’s stand-up is filled with funny commentary on his upbringing, relatable situations and just some goofy fun which is always met with uproarious laughter.

Paige Weldon | July 27

Paige Weldon will end the month on a high note with her set on Wednesday, July 27. The comedian, writer and actor has been featured on Comedy Central, Paramount and “The Late Late Show with James Corden.” Weldon was named one of Time Out LA’s ‘Top 10 Comedians to Watch,’ as well as New York Comedy Festival’s ‘Comic to Watch.’

Doors open for guests ages 21 and over at 7PM and performances begin at 8PM. General admission tickets are priced at $10 per person and may be purchased online here.
