It’s officially 2024, and San Diego Botanic Garden is the perfect spot to set intentions for the new year with its line-up of wellness events this January.
Whether you’re looking to attend one of their unique yoga classes or just walk the four-mile trails to get your steps in and enjoy nature, the garden is the perfect spot to implement healthy habits in the new year.
Conservatory Yoga
Enjoy a truly unique one-hour yoga experience surrounded by lush greenery and the calming atmosphere of a rainforest inside the Dickinson Family Education Conservatory. The series includes classes on January 17, January 24, and January 31 at 5:30 PM.
Each class features a gentle yoga flow that will leave you feeling refreshed and restored. Classes are available for $10 for members and $24 for non-members. Be sure to bring your own mat. Class fees only include admission to the conservatory. Tickets can be purchased here.
Open Air Yoga
Breathe in fresh air while being surrounded by lush gardens as you are guided through a one-hour yoga class, immersing your senses in the sights, smells, and sounds of nature. The series includes classes on January 13, January 20, and January 27 at 9 AM.
Classes are available for $10 for members and $24 for non-members. Be sure to bring your own mat and sunscreen, as the class is outside and has limited shade.
Class fees include garden admission so you can explore the beauty of the Garden after a restorative yoga session. Tickets can be purchased here.
