MOPA Looks To China To Redefine Artistic Expression

From March 7 to September 20, Out of the Shadows: Contemporary Chinese Photography will take visitors on a journey through the eyes of contemporary Chinese artists and stretch their understanding of photography as an art form.

This exhibit wants to put a spotlight on artists from the Pacific Rim whose work had not yet reached the U.S. MOPA is making this new perspective of Chinese artists approachable for visitors to explore how thousands of years of pictorial traditions influences the country’s art today.

Learn how these artists are redefining expressions that remain both Chinese and global. Buy your tickets now!

See you there!
