Campland and Mission Bay RV Resort Celebrate Labor Day Weekend

Campland on the Bay and Mission Bay RV Resort are sending summer off in style with four days of non-stop entertainment, live music, and waterfront fun. These San Diego waterfront campgrounds have packed the schedule with everything from dodgeball tournaments and giant water slides to tribute band performances under the stars, creating the perfect farewell to summer.

Action-Packed Days Meet Musical Nights

Each day kicks off with age-grouped dodgeball tournaments starting at 10 AM, followed by activities like capture the flag, ping pong tournaments, and bubble soccer.

The giant water slide runs Saturday and Sunday afternoons for $10 per day, while family favorites like candy bar bingo and bike parades happen throughout the weekend.

Evenings bring Campland Rocks featuring top tribute bands Friday through Sunday. We Belong (Pat Benatar tribute) opens Friday, followed by OCD covering ’70s and ’80s classic rock Saturday, and Cool Rush delivering Rush tribute performances Sunday.

The outdoor concert setting encourages bringing blankets and camping chairs for stargazing between sets.

Bayfront Activities and Watersports

The premium Mission Bay location offers watersports rentals at Campland Marina including pedal boats, kayaks, pontoon boats, and stand-up paddleboards. Adventure Water Sports provides jet skis, wave runners, and ski boats for thrill-seekers wanting to explore the bay waters.

Land-based options include bike rentals for scenic trail cruising, plus surrey carts and golf carts for resort exploration. Both properties offer heated pools and spas, fitness centers, dog parks, playgrounds, game rooms, skate parks, and sports courts.

Special Summer Deals

The Endless Summer offer provides 40% off select Campland stays now until September 15 (excluding Labor Day Weekend) with code ENDLESS. Mission Bay RV Resort offers 20% off campsites through August 28, while San Diego residents get year-round 20% discounts with valid ID.

Both resorts accommodate various camping styles with RV rental partners offering delivery and setup services, plus tent camping options. Mission Bay RV Resort guests can easily access Campland activities via the picturesque Mike Gotch Memorial Bridge.

Connected Waterfront Experience

The close proximity of both resorts creates a unified waterfront community where we can enjoy the full range of amenities and activities. Whether staying in an RV, tent, or rental accommodation, everyone has access to the complete Campland entertainment schedule and marina facilities.
