San Diego’s ReBru Spirits Introduces Longball Hard Tea In Time For Summer

Summer is coming, which means warm sunny days (it’s about time!) and cold drinks in hand! Innovative San Diego distiller ReBru Spirits is ready to help keep you cool with the introduction of Longball, their new hard tea beverage that’s perfect for sunny days, saucy waves, and hitting huge power fades down the fairway.

Hard Seltzers, Hazy IPAs, and ready-to-drink cocktails have created a big buzz in the market in recent years, but Hard Tea is arriving in a big way and taking the market by storm.

Tea is one of the most widely consumed beverages in the world, having finished within the Top 5 competitive standings for more than 100 years running in the heavyweight beverage space.

An innovative take on the Arnold Palmer

Longball lemon iced tea is a cocktail-inspired innovative take on the Arnold Palmer (half iced tea, half lemonade) with a variety of ABV options to fit whatever is in store for your summer days.

You can enjoy a pour of the Longball 750ml bottle at 23.5 % ABV to give a lift to your party, or crack open either of the 12-oz cans of Longball & Soda at 5% ABV and or a Longball & Soda Double at 10% ABV on the golf course or poolside.

Lower-sugar option

The team behind Longball cares about the amount of sugar in its products, and strives to create big taste with as little additional sugar as possible.

Many ready-to-drink canned cocktails – like Twisted Tea (23 grams of sugar per 12-oz can) and Cutwater Margarita (27 grams of sugar per 12-oz can) – amount to about 70% of one’s daily sugar intake in one can.

Longball comes in at six grams per Longball & Soda and 10 grams of sugar per Longball & Soda Double, respectively, and does not include any fake or artificial-tasting sweeteners like Stevia, Aspartame, Erythritol, or Monk fruit.

San Diego golf pro joins Longball team

Longball holds true to the original blend that made the Arnold Palmer popular among golfers, making it a perfect option out on the course.

Tina Mickelson, a San Diego golf professional and PGA member, and sister of World Golf Hall of Famer, Phil Mickelson, has joined ReBru Spirits’ Longball brand as a partner and advisor. She will serve in an advisory role for Longball in the golf space and help spread the word about the brand.

Golf Pro Tina Mickelson

Mickelson is the Director of Women’s Programming and Instruction for the Golf Channel Academy with David Impastato, and an ambassador for both San Diego’s The Santaluz Club and Carlsbad’s Callaway Golf.

She also contributes to Southern California Golf Association’s FORE Magazine and serves as the editor of SCGA’s FORE Her Newsletter.
