Mavericks Beach Club Just Leveled Up Pacific Beach With Brand New Sports Courts

Mavericks Beach Club on Garnet Avenue has been busy transforming their space, and the result is something we’ve been waiting for in Pacific Beach. They’ve just unveiled their new Sports Courts, turning what used to be a parking lot into multiple courts where you can get your game on while staying close to the beach vibes we all love.

Three Ways to Get Your Game On

The courts offer three different ways to break a sweat and have fun. You can spike your competitive side with pickleball, shoot some hoops with basketball, or try your footwork at futsal—that’s soccer played on a much smaller court for those who haven’t experienced it yet.

Each sport brings its own energy, and honestly, having all three options in one spot makes it easy to switch things up depending on your mood or group size.

What we really appreciate is how Mavericks took this outdoor space and made it work for both serious players and people just looking to have a good time. Whether you’re planning to dominate the court or just want to mess around with friends, the setup works for everyone.

Easy Booking, Maximum Fun

Getting court time is refreshingly straightforward. You can book reservations directly through their website or use their online portal system.

If you’re thinking bigger picture—like organizing a team building event or planning a group celebration—they’ve got private event options that can turn your gathering into something memorable.

The flexibility here is key. Sometimes you want to just show up and play, other times you need to coordinate schedules for a larger group. Mavericks has made both scenarios work, which means less planning stress and more time actually enjoying yourself.

Perfect Timing for Pacific Beach

The courts are open with hours that actually make sense for how we live and play in San Diego. Weekends get the full treatment, giving you plenty of options whether you’re an early bird looking to start your Saturday right or prefer an evening game as the sun sets.

These hours work especially well in Pacific Beach, where the beach club atmosphere pairs perfectly with active fun. You can work up a sweat on the courts, then transition seamlessly into the rest of what Mavericks offers.

See You There!
