Mission Pacific Hotel Unveils Reimagination Of The Rooftop Bar

Mission Pacific Hotel is proud to announce a reimagination of The Rooftop Bar.

Oceanside’s first-ever rooftop hotspot has evolved into a day-to-night oasis with beach club energy, where guests can ease from sunrise to sunset.

Eclectic music performances and wellness offerings will drive the new programming-centric space. In addition, The Rooftop Bar has also launched an innovative new menu of locally-inspired cocktails, craft beers, and inventive cuisine.

“We are elated to share the next chapter of The Rooftop Bar with hotel guests and homegrown tastemakers alike,” said Michael Stephens, Mission Pacific Hotel and The Seabird Resort’s area managing director. “The Rooftop Bar’s fresh and exciting food and beverage menu will provide new flavor and new activations will entertain from dawn until dusk.”

Surf-centric cocktails

Drawing inspiration from Oceanside’s pervasive surf culture, The Rooftop Bar’s new cocktail menu features imaginative and distinct cocktails named for the most beloved surf breaks down the striking San Diego County coastline.

Each libation earned its name from the unique character and behavior of the area’s waves, ranging from the funky and fast-breaking barrels of Buccaneer in Oceanside to the smooth and sweet swells of Sunset Cliffs in San Diego.

A portion of sales of The Jetty cocktail, named for one of Oceanside’s most iconic breaks, will go to benefit USA Surfing’s elite training programs.

To complement the new suite of surf-centric cocktails, The Rooftop Bar’s revitalized food menu centers on light bites and shareable dishes, highlighting the abundance of coastal Californian ingredients infused with Mediterranean influences.

The beer list salutes the vibrant local brewing community of North County San Diego, while the wine list focuses largely on the West Coast.

Music is life!

Music is an integral part of The Rooftop Bar ethos, where custom-made playlists will provide a cutting-edge mix of funky, deep and sexy house, gypsy disco, electronica and R&B at every hour of the day.

In support of San Diego County’s wealth of talent, local DJ’s will play beginning Thursday night and carrying through the weekend, with additional appearances scheduled for well-known DJs throughout the U.S.

See you there!

The Rooftop Bar hours are 11AM-9PM, Sunday to Thursday, 11AM-11PM, Friday and Saturday. The bar will enforce a 21 years or older door policy beginning at 5PM or earlier if a DJ is scheduled to perform. On Sundays, The Rooftop Bar and Pool will maintain a 21 years or older policy all day.
