Join The New Monthly Oyster Monday With Friends At Fort Oak

Trust Restaurant Group’s Fort Oak in Mission Hills is honoring their renowned raw-bar seafood program with a new monthly Oyster Monday with Friends series, featuring a special lineup of guests in the upcoming months.

Oyster Monday With Friends, A Monthly Takeover At Fort Oak

While Fort Oak’s Oyster Mondays will continue to occur weekly from 4PM to 6PM at the bar and on the patio (first come, first serve), the restaurant is excited to announce a monthly bar takeover series highlighting sustainably crafted, community focused artisan spirits.

Hosted by Jess Stewart, Bar Manager for TRUST Restaurant Group, the program aims to inspire and educate guests to consider how spirits can support a community. Some of these topics will include the ecology on where the spirits are grown, how they are harvested, and a background on the people working to create the spirits.

Save the Date!

Each month, the Oyster Monday With Friends takeover will include a special cocktail menu and spirit tasting featuring the day’s collaborator. Upcoming guests include Ilegal Mezcal on June 5th, STOKE Distillery in July, and more takeovers to be announced. There will be brand representatives to share the stories and culture of the spirit, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the brand while enjoying an excellent cocktail, one dollar oysters, and special food menu.

Keep up to date with Fort Oak through their website here and follow them on Instagram.

See you there, San Diego!
