Moonshine Beach Welcomes Back 49ers Fans For Game Day

While September brought sports fans a little 2020 relief with the return of the NFL, many fans are missing the camaraderie of rooting for their favorite alongside other fans at their neighborhood sports bar. Luckily, Moonshine Beach, San Diego’s resident 49ers bar, has re-opened exclusively for 49ers games this season.

The bar and eatery, which has been closed since mid-March due to the pandemic, isn’t ready to open full time, but wanted to provide a space for their loyal fans to cheer on the team. Games can be viewed in Moonshine Beach’s dance hall on the 30-ft projector, as well as on the patio.

In order to ensure social distancing can be observed, reservations are required for tables in the dance hall, and the patio seating is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Reservations can be made for parties of up to ten people, and tables require a minimum food and beverage purchase, which ranges from $200 to $500, as well as a $50 deposit.

Moonshine Beach will also be featuring food and drink specials during the games, including Taco Baskets, Tortas, and Buffalo Wings, as well as Beer Baskets, Mini Bottle Service, and Red Boot Slushies, which are served in 32oz souvenir cowboy boots.

The full schedule of games can be found HERE, and reservations can be made via the Moonshine Beach website HERE.

In addition to Moonshine Beach’s football offerings, Bub’s at the Ballpark, which is also owned and operated by Good Time Design (Moonshine Beach, Moonshine Flats,) has moved many of their TV’s outside so that patrons can enjoy a full lineup of sports games from the restaurant’s patio.

See you there….and stay healthy, San Diego!
