Moto Deli Officially Reopens In Leucadia
Moto Deli has officially reopened in Leucadia. Originally located down the street where owner Mario Guerra opened his new bistro Valentina, Moto Deli’s new address is 1076 N. Coast HWY 101, Leucadia CA 92024.
Everybody happy
After closing down Moto Deli and opening Valentina, local entrepreneur Mario Guerra had people knocking on his door asking, “Where can I get a Cuban?” The demand from the neighborhood was ultimately the reason Mario decided to reopen the deli and Mario (and the neighborhood) couldn’t be happier.
Making mean sandwiches like a boss!
Moto Deli continues to make superior hand-built sandwiches and provide a family- and dog-friendly environment, perfect for encompassing the free spirit of Leucadia. The deli-style menu is as homemade as it gets with most breads, meats, pickled vegetables and many other from-scratch ingredients made in house. The elevated deli utilizes local, premium quality produce whenever possible.
There’s always something in the menu for everyone
Serving lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday-Monday, Moto Deli features an electric range of hot and cold sandwiches, salads and sides, including an infusion of flavors from the Mediterranean, Southern California and beyond. With something for everyone, the menu features items such as its crowd-pleasing Turketta with house-smoked turkey breast, bacon avocado cheddar and apricot mostarda on squaw bread and a vegetarian option, the Veggie, which includes red pepper hummus, cucumber, tomato and avocado on squaw bread.
The deli also offers delicious salads including the Moto Salad, Cobb and Caesar, as well as sides, such as, the Mac salad, Potato salad and Supergreens salad.
Chef Andrew Halvorsen is back leading the kitchen at Moto Deli with nearly 15 years of culinary and restaurant management experience at San Diego hot spots and creating the signature Moto Deli cult-favorite hot sauce.
See you there!
