Mr. Trustee Is Scooping Up New Fall Ice Cream Flavors!

Although fall is calling, our San Diego weather is still hot, hot hot!  Mr. Trustee, adjacent to Trust Restaurant Group’s Cardellino Restaurant in Mission Hills, has a selection of new flavors to keep things cool on those Indian summer days but equally delicious and refreshing on cooler days.

Peanut Butter & Banana Doggy Ice Cream

Just as every dog must have its day, every dog must have a scoop of Mr. Trustee Creamery ice cream! The Mission Hills creamery’s new pup-approved Peanut Butter and Banana Ice Cream is vegan and grain-free, making it a healthy, tasty treat for fur babies!

Slacker Jacks

A tribute to the dessert served by Trust Restaurant Group at their October 2018 appearance at the James Beard House, the popcorn-infused caramel Slacker Jacks Ice Cream is swirled with peanut butter nougat, peanuts and caramel corn to create a nostalgic treat. Available for a limited time.

Toasted Coconut

Take your mouth on a trip to the islands with a cup or cone of the new Toasted Coconut and White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie Dough Ice Cream featuring crispy, toasted coconut flakes and sweet, buttery and crunchy Macadamia nuts. To intensify the coconut flavor, ask for an extra sprinkle of toasted coconut on top.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch

Chef Jeremy Harville continues to share his love of cereal milk flavors with the introduction of Cinnamon Toast Crunch Soft Serve topped with a scoop of Cinnamon Toast Crunch bits and pieces.

Worms & Dirt Ice Cream!

Set to release for Halloween from October 29-31, the creamery’s Worms & Dirt flavor is made with chocolate ice cream, chocolate marshmallow whip, Oreos, fudge ripple and gummy worms for the perfect holiday “ewww” and “ick” factor.

Mr. Trustee scooping hours are Monday through Thursday from 4PM to 9PM and Friday through Sunday from 12PM to 9PM. Rotating and signature flavors of Mr. Trustee ice cream are also served at sibling eateries including Trust, Fort Oak, Cardellino, and recently opened, The Wise Ox Butcher + Eatery in North Park.

See you there….and stay healthy, San Diego!
