Good Time Design Acquires Beloved Patrick’s Gaslamp Pub

San Diego-based hospitality group, Good Time Design, has been on a roll this past month, opening eatery, Go Go Amigo, in mid March in Liberty Station and bar, Happy Does, in the Gaslamp Quarter in mid April. This week, they are rounding out the list by taking ownership of beloved downtown bar, Patrick’s Gaslamp Pub.

Patrick’s has been a mainstay in the Gaslamp Quarter since opening in 1933 and is known for its promise of live music, seven days a week. Under Good Time Design’s ownership, that tradition will continue, with a steady rotation of local musicians playing Jazz, Blues, and Rock n’ Roll throughout the month.

In refreshing the space, Good Time Design maintained the integrity of the intimate bar, which accommodates a maximum of 80 people, choosing simply to outfit the venue with new booths and a refinished bar.

The bar officially reopened under Good Time Design’s ownership Thursday, April 21. The evening will be marked with drink specials all night, and music from Jason Hanna & the Swinging Bananas.

Patrick’s will then be open for its usual hours from 3PM to 2AM, Monday through Thursday, and 12PM to 2AM, Friday through Sunday.

See you there, San Diego!
