The Pool House Brings Fresh DJ Energy to Locals’ Summer

The Pool House at Pendry San Diego is keeping the rooftop party momentum going this month with a lineup of Sunday events that showcase both established and emerging DJ talent.

Perched three stories above the Gaslamp Quarter with sweeping skyline views, the venue is positioning itself as the spot for locals looking to extend summer vibes into the fall season.

The DJ Lineup Worth Knowing

The programming kicks off with an “Under the Sun Music Festival” featuring Los Angeles-based Murphi Kennedy, known for live remixing that blends EDM, hip-hop, and classic hits, alongside Las Vegas performer Kurt Joseph.

The Industry Luau features Sami G. She’s joined by FIA, a San Diego DJ celebrated for blending hip-hop, Latin, and electronic music.

Later events include an “Endless Summer” party with Las Vegas house specialist Matt Faulk, who performs at top clubs like XS and LIV, and local house and techno DJ Maƨala.

The month wraps with “Drink Pool House Dry,” featuring DJ Nvious with his open-format sets blending hip-hop, Latin, and electronic music, plus DJ Susio’s energetic techno and tech house.

The Experience Beyond Music

The Pool House operates with different schedules depending on the day—noon to sunset on these event days, with daybed and cabana rentals available plus VIP table service. The elevated poolside setting gives it that resort feel while staying grounded in the urban energy of downtown San Diego.

The mix of local and visiting talent creates programming that feels both accessible to regulars and special enough for those looking for something beyond the typical weekend scene.

See You There!

Rooftop venues are only as good as their programming, and The Pool House seems to understand that locals’ summer deserves quality DJs.
