Puesto Unveils Mexico City Inspired Taco Of The Month Series

Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar known for bringing the vibrance of Mexico City’s bustling street-food culture to California is celebrating those flavors with their current Taco of the Month series.

Over the course of three months, March to May, Puesto’s menu will feature a distinctive taco that is reminiscent of the wide range of flavors found in the cultural epicenter that is Mexico City.

Ribeye Asada for March

Kicking off the Mexico City Taco of the Month Series, Puesto’s March menu features the authentic and delicious Ribeye Asada. Marinated in Puesto’s award-winning Negra beer and orange juice and grilled a la plancha, the Ribeye is topped with spicy arbol salsa, fresh pico de gallo, and a crumble of queso fresco to give it a traditional Mexico City feel.

Pork Al Pastor for April

In April, the Taco of the Month will transition to one of Mexico City’s most essential dishes, the Pork Al Pastor, highlighting marinated and sliced pork shoulder grilled a la plancha topped with creamy avocado tomatillo salsa, colorful salsa roja, tepache pico, avocado and fresh cilantro.

Taco Campechano – May

Closing out the series, the May menu will feature Puesto’s playful twist on the mouthwatering and highly celebrated street taco, the Taco Campechano, with marinated and grilled Jidori chicken, pinto beans, bacon, caramelized onions, crispy melted cheese, avocado, pickled red onions and tomatillo morita salsa.

Available at all Puesto locations

Sourcing only the freshest and highest quality ingredients, these can’t miss tacos representative of Mexico City will be available at all Puesto locations over the course of March, April and May.
