Saint Archer Collabs With Coffee & Tea Collective For Latest R&D Series Beer

Saint Archer Brewing Co. is excited to announce the launch of their latest R&D Series beer, The Raspberry, Coffee, and Tea Berliner Wesse. The beer, which is a collaboration with North Park-based Coffee & Tea Collective, is available starting tomorrow, November 19th, at both of Saint Archer’s tasting rooms, located in Leucadia and Miramar respectively.

To create the beer, Saint Archer steeped Coffee & Tea Collective’s Red Peony Tea for the last remaining minutes of the boil to give the beer some earthy, red fruit, and lemony undertones. Their Tandem Blend Coffee is then incorporated into the beer using a combination of a dry hop/cold brew extraction method.

When Coffee & Tea Collective described both the coffee and tea to Saint Archer during the R&D process, they mentioned raspberry multiple times, so Saint Archer’s finishing touch was to enhance that flavor by recirculating fresh raspberries through the final product. The beer is lightly tart with a huge coffee aroma finished with that earthy/lemony taste and high carbonation.

The Raspberry, Coffee, and Tea Berliner Wesse is available in 16 oz. 4-packs for $12.99, and is part of Saint Archer’s ongoing R&D Series, which kicked off back in June with the launch of the brewery’s 7th anniversary beer.

See you there….and stay healthy, San Diego!
