San Diego Tattoo Artist Turk To Compete In Season 11 Of ‘Ink Master’

Tattoo artist Turk will be representing himself, his family, his tattoo shop, and San Diego on Season 11 of Paramount Networks’ ‘Ink Master‘ – let’s show him our support!

Flying high at 6 feet 9 inches, Turk is a presence in any room. A tattoo veteran of more than twenty years, he started tattooing at the age of 20, and is now the proud owner of the Left Hand Black Tattoo and Art Gallery.

Crediting his family, including a son with autism, as his main inspiration, Turk is ready to take his expertise to Ink Master where, he’s hoping, a win would change their lives for the better.

“Ink Master”, which premieres Tuesday, August 28th at 10 pm ET/PT,will welcome back two “Ink Master” fan favorites to coach and mentor artists in the quest for $100,000, an editorial feature in Inked and the coveted title of “Ink Master.”

In addition, the coaches, Ink Master alumni Cleen Rock One and Christian Buckingham, will be competing against each other to win $100,000 of their own.

This new season starts off with 22 potential contestants who are put through a series of intense tattoo-style challenges, after which Rock One and Buckingham will select their top nine artists to compete as part of their teams.

Throughout the competition, the artists will be tested on their technical skills along with their on-the-spot creativity, as they must conceive and execute original tattoos on “human canvases.” Each episode will focus on a different and distinct style of tattooing and, as always, while the artists’ masterpieces will last a lifetime, so will their mistakes.

Contestants face a tough panel made up of Dave Navarro (musician, filmmaker and artist) and renowned tattoo artists Chris Nunez (Handcrafted Miami) and Oliver Peck (Elm Street Tattoo).

Let’s cross our fingers for our very own Turk, San Diegans!
