Culinary Fire at Bahia Resort’s Beachfront With Summer Chef Cookout Series

A new summer tradition is heating up at Mission Bay. Bahia Resort Hotel launches its Summer Chef Cookout series, featuring rotating top regional chefs who fire up the grill with toes-in-the-sand dining, live music, and those stunning Mission Bay sunsets that make every meal feel like a celebration.

Four Exceptional Chefs, Four Unique Experiences

The series kicks off with Chef Alejandro Sicairos, Executive Chef at Bahia Resort Hotel, bringing his expertise to the beachfront grill. Chef Jojo Ruiz from Lionfish, Serẽa, and Temaki Restaurants follows, representing the culinary excellence of Clique Hospitality’s restaurant portfolio.

Chef Patrick Ponsaty, Executive Sous Chef from the legendary Hotel Del Coronado, adds his refined touch to the series, while Chef Vincent Pouessel from Mon Ami Gabi in Las Vegas brings French-inspired flair to this uniquely California beach dining experience.

More Than Just Grilling

Each cookout features a rotating chef firing up the grill with their own unique style, complemented by plentiful spreads of appetizers, fresh salads, seasonal sides, and indulgent desserts. The full bar ensures perfectly paired beverages while live music creates the ideal soundtrack for beachfront dining.

Toes-in-the-Sand Dining Experience

The Mission Bay setting elevates these cookouts beyond typical chef dinners. There’s something magical about enjoying expertly prepared cuisine with your feet in the sand while watching the sun set over the water.

The combination of culinary excellence and beachfront ambiance creates an experience that captures the essence of summer dining in San Diego.

The Tuesday evening timing from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM provides the perfect mid-week escape. Whether you’re looking to discover new culinary talents, enjoy a romantic beachfront dinner, or simply soak up the relaxed Mission Bay atmosphere, these cookouts offer something special for every dining enthusiast.
