Get a sweet start to summer with the next installment of Friendly Feast’s Cookie Club on Sunday, June 7th from 10:00am to 11:30am. The event will be hosted at Solana Beach eatery, Ranch 45, and highlight cookies from four of San Diego’s top bakers and restaurants, including an oatmeal, white chocolate, cranberry cookie from Ranch 45.
In addition to Ranch 45’s contribution, the box will feature a Coconut Macaroon Thumbprint with Strawberry-Lime Jam from Chef Megan Galindo, a Nutella S’moreo Cookie made by Faye Rodriguez (Faye’s Desserts) and Brittany Vargas’ (Thick & Thin Cookie Co.) Chocolate Lovers Chocolate Chip Cookie. The boxes cost $25 and feature a total of eight bakery-quality cookies.
The Friendly Feast Cookie Club is a fundraising program that promotes the creativity of local chefs and bakers. Proceeds benefit Friendly Feast and Frontline Foods, a nonprofit that contracts with local restaurants to provide healthcare workers with meals during the Covid-19 pandemic.
To place your order, head to Friendly Feast’s website here, and click on the “cookie club” tab. Orders will go on sale May 26th, and will be capped at 24 boxes, so make sure to place your order early! Once you’ve secured your box, pickup instructions will be emailed to you, with each order receiving a special pickup time between 10:00am and 11:30am to ensure social distancing can be observed.
