Taking place for one night only in the mezcaleria’s tucked-away tasting room, where more than 140 types of mezcal are regularly available for tastings and purchase, this dinner event will feature four courses of fare paired with a welcome cocktail and the artisanal mezcal brand La
Luna Mezcal.

Sergio Garcia Manriquez is the self-taught chef and founder of Chicano Soul Food, an open air taco cart in San Diego serving handmade Michoacán-style cuisine, which differs from many people’s typical idea of Mexican cuisine and more often showcases produce, herbs and spices with a lesser focus on meat. The self-taught chef, whose family hails from Michoacán, has built the local brand on his interpretation of the authentic family dishes he grew up eating.
