Highly Anticipated Kairoa Brewpub Now Open In University Heights

The highly anticipated Kairoa brewpub is now open and can be found right beside the iconic University Heights neighborhood sign!

The expansive two story concept is serving house and guest beer, a full food menu and, of course, more than a dozen wines.

Kairoa Paying Homage To Its Founders

Kairoa will pay homage to its founders home country of New Zealand throughout the beer style, food, and design. Thus, head brewer, Joe Peach will be utilizing New Zealand hops. These hops are chiefly renowned for their unique, aromatic characteristics, to create true-to-style beer.

The Menu

Expect to see the country’s influence throughout the food menu. Their staple dishes include a Sausage Roll and Butter Chicken Pie. Don’t forget to try their Kiwi* Burger also. It combines beef with tomato chutney, beets, grilled onion, shredded lettuce, mayo, mustard, and a fried egg between a brioche bun.

The Design

Tying it all together will be a clean, contrasting design by Hollis Brand Culture. The 10,500 square foot space is, basically, a gathering spot for everyone. May it be locals, visitors, families, or beer fanatics.

The brewing system is visible from the spacious downstairs area. A open air upstairs patio overlooks the community. It features a play area for children, a private events space, and fire pits for adults to enjoy.

See you there!
