Get Ready for Moniker General’s Third San Diego Location – This Time Downtown
Moniker General is coming downtown, and honestly, it makes all the sense in the world. The coffee and cocktail concept that helped shape Liberty Station into the neighborhood it is today – and did the same for North Park in 2025 – is heading to WEST, a new 37-story mixed-use tower in downtown San Diego.
It’s the third location for one of San Diego’s most well-loved gathering spots, and downtown has been ready for something like this.
An All-Day Gathering Place for Downtown
The new space runs about 1,830 square feet on the ground floor of WEST, pairing Moniker Coffee Co.‘s specialty coffee and café offerings with The Bar at Moniker General’s craft cocktails, wine, and beer. Morning coffee, a midday work session, after-work drinks – the format is built to flex with your day, which is exactly what a neighborhood anchor should do.
Built the Moniker Way
Every inch of the new location is being handled in-house – design by Moniker Design Studio, construction by Moniker Building Co., operations by the same team that’s been doing this since 2010. That integrated approach is a big part of why Moniker spaces feel the way they do.
“We’ve never approached growth as simply adding locations,” said founder and CEO Ryan Sisson. “For us, it’s always about finding neighborhoods where we feel we can contribute something meaningful.” Downtown is clearly next in line.
