Seneca Trattoria Welcomes New Leadership Team And A Refreshed Menu
With a couple of years of service under its belt, Seneca Trattoria is welcoming new leadership to the helm and bringing a delightful refresh to the menu.
Since opening two summers ago atop the InterContinental Hotel, CH Projects’ Seneca Trattoria has captured the attention of San Diegans with its expansive rooftop view of the bay, romantic design featuring maritime motifs, and Roman-inspired food and drink.
The new leadership team—made up of Executive Chef Christopher Gerwig (Union Kitchen, Searsucker), General Manager Bosko Milenkovic (Paradisea), Assistant General Manager Courtney Mullarkey-Finley, and Service Manager Lucas Ketir—is focused on steering the restaurant menu in a more regional-specific direction, highlighting Italian dishes with a lighter profile.
New menu, too.
While fan favorites such as the Wood Fired Prawns, Truffle Arancini, handmade pasta and pizza dough (that has undergone a 72-hour fermentation) will remain, guests can expect a new menu that is more entreé focused with a renewed emphasis on housemade items and local seafood, inspired by restaurant’s unparalleled Pacific views.
An assortment of new desserts as well as additions to Seneca’s list of signature cocktails have also been added to the menu.
Seneca is located at 901 Bayfront Court, Level 19, San Diego, and reservations are available daily via OpenTable here.
