Young Blood Named As One Of The Best Bars In North America By 50 Best Bars

Young Blood, East Village’s speakeasy within a speakeasy, has been awarded with the prestigious recognition as one of the 50 Best Bars in North America by 50 Best’s list of North America’s 50 Best Bars 2023. The winners were announced at a ceremony on May 4th and Youngblood placed in the number 49 spot.

The bar, which is owned by San Diego-based hospitality group, CH Projects, is the sole San Diego establishment to make the list, and is joined by three other California bars, including one in San Francisco and two in Los Angeles, as well as one bar in Tijuana.

Why Young Blood is one of the Best Bars in North America

Young Blood opened in 2021 as part of the revamp of CH Projects’ inaugural concept, Neighborhood, and packs an impressive immersive cocktail experience into its modest 400 square foot footprint. Visits to Youngblood are a sanctioned hour and a half long personalized adventure in which patrons share their drink preferences and the highly trained bartenders deliver a series of three hand-crafted, uniquely individualized cocktails in return.

Each drink is based on a multi-course experience, beginning with an appetizer, which delivers something light and refreshing, followed by something a bit heavier as the entrée and finishing with something on the sweeter end as dessert, each in cocktail form.

A well deserved recognition!

Congratulations to Young Blood and CH Projects on their well-deserved recognition as one of the 50 Best Bars in North America! This impressive achievement is a testament to their dedication to providing an immersive and personalized cocktail experience that sets them apart from the rest. Youngblood’s unique approach to mixology and exceptional service has made it a standout in San Diego’s vibrant bar scene.

We look forward to seeing what other exciting creations the talented team at Young Blood has in store for us in the future. Visit their website here for more info and follow them on Instagram.

See you there, San Diego!
