“The Summer I Met Jack” is based on a real story that takes place in 1950 where a young and beautiful Polish refugee arrives in Hyannisport, Massachusetts to work as a maid for one of the wealthiest families in America. Alicia is dazzled by the charismatic family especially the oldest son who is a rising politician named Jack. This book dives into the life of a woman who J. Edgar Hoover insisted was paid on by the Kennedys to keep quiet about her romance with Jack and the baby they may have had together.
