11 Seasonal Cocktails From San Diego Bars That Will Have You Feeling Festive!

The holidays are a cocktail-lovers dream! Things slow down a bit, people are relaxed and feeling festive, and the bartenders have all been working hard on their seasonal specialties.

Here are 11 seasonal cocktails from some of our favorite San Diego bars to add to your holiday season wish list!

Highball – Polite Provisions

You can’t go wrong with a cocktail at Polite Provisions any time of year, but you can expect that their bartenders are turning it up a notch over the holidays! Head in for a Highball now, and then go back the day after Thanksgiving when Polite launches their Miracle on 30th pop-up cocktail promotion!

Not Your Grandma’s Apple Pie – Westgate Hotel

If you feel like getting a little fancy, head to the Westgate. But don’t be fooled by the pretty teacups, this drink is not dainty in any way! Jameson, Rye IPA, spiced apple puree, and spiced sugar syrup warmed to perfection. Yes please!

Seasonal Cocktail Menu at the Nolen

The Nolen has specials on their new seasonal cocktail menu every day of the month. Combine the beauties with the beautiful view, and you can’t help but feel thankful!

Apple Cinnamon Crisp – Park 101

For my North County homies! You can’t get the hard stuff at Park 101, but you won’t miss it. Their tasty wine-based cocktails – like the Apple Cinnamon Crisp – will leave you with fall feels for sure!

‘Noble Experiments’ Menu at Noble Experiment

They didn’t provide the name of this beauty, only that it was a part of their new ‘Noble Experiments’ menu. Whatever it’s called – who cares?! Just make a plan to go get one!

The Scotch Pillow at Sycamore Den

Sycamore Den’s seasonal menu is as tight as a pair of 70’s jorts! This dream is the ‘Scotch Pillow,’ a smooth cocktail featuring scotch, cinnamon, Licor 43, egg white and lemon.

The Jade at The Lion’s Share

“The Jade” is made of Wild Turkey Bourbon, lemon juice, orange cinnamon syrup, and a heavy rinse of smoky scotch. Heavenly. Plus, $1 from each cocktail sold goes to benefit the San Diego Humane Society, which is a nice reason to drink, seeing as you usually drink for no reason at all. Available now through November 30.

Ask for the Seasonal Sipper at The Pony Room at Rancho Valencia

Another one for my North County people. You can’t go wrong going to the Pony Room at Rancho Valencia for a grown-up drink! The bar is the perfect combination of sophistication and informality; perfect for a relaxed but special night out with good friends. And they don’t skimp on the drinks!

Old Fashioned at Queensborough

1920’s New York City meets the Gaslamp at Queensborough, and we love it. Seasonal cocktails or not, ask for anything on their cocktail menu and expect it to be served with old school style that will have you feeling festive!

The Ghostwriter at Ironside Fish and Oyster Bar

I lovvvvvve the bar at Ironside. Saddle up and get one of their regulars like the Ghostwriter, which contains bourbon, Amaro Meletti, and black walnut bitters. And it’s darn good. Or order some oysters and wash them down with Champagne. You can’t go wrong.

The Harvest Moon at Madison on Park

Madison’s cocktails are as beautiful and unique as its architecture. The Harvest Moon contains 1776 Rye Whiskey, pumpkin purée, pecan wood smoked maple syrup, Velvet Falernum, and lemon. That will have you feeling festive!

See you there!

With seasonal cocktails this beautiful, there’s no reason to stay at home! This is one holiday season wish list you are in complete control of! Grab your friends and make the rounds!

See you there!
