Summer Surf Fest, Moonight Movie Nights & More At One Paseo
San Diego’s favorite urban village, One Paseo, has only one thing on its mind ―summer. The Del Mar hot spot, which already boasts an impressive list of shops, eateries, services, and pop-ups, is ensuring One Paseo is the place to be this season with summer activations and events for the whole family.
Whether guests are looking to take in a movie under the stars, shop at One Paseo’s latest pop-up, treat the kids to some entertainment, or enjoy a fashion showcase, One Paseo’s summer lineup has a little something for everyone.
One Paseo Moonlight Cinema Series
One Paseo’s outdoor movie series, Moonlight Cinema, is back this summer, following a great inaugural run in 2021. The series is being expanded to span every Saturday in June and July, beginning on June 4 with a screening of Encanto and continuing through July 30, which will see Sing 2 on the outdoor big screen.
In addition to Encanto and Sing 2, movie selections this year include recent hits like Luca and Jungle Cruise, as well as family friendly classics like Tangled and The Lego Movie. The movies take place from 7PM to 9PM on One Paseo’s Lawn, adjacent to Harland Brewing, and guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and low chairs, and indulge in take out from nearby eateries like URBN Pizza, Cava, and Tocaya Organica to enjoy during the show.

Kids Happy Hour
While Happy Hour may sound like an inherently adult concept, One Paseo is offering children the chance to discover the joy of happy hour with their Kids Happy Hour series. Taking place every Thursday from 3PM to 5PM throughout the summer, beginning on June 2 and ending on August 25, the Kids Happy Hour couples kid-friendly entertainment and snacks from One Paseo’s eateries to create a festive event for the whole family.

Seasonal Pop Ups

Summer Surf Fest
On Saturday, August 6 from 11AM to 4PM, One Paseo will be hosting their 2nd annual Summer Surf Fest to celebrate San Diego surf culture and One Paseo’s adjacent beach community. Located just a few miles from the beach, One Paseo aims to honor the rich surfing tradition in the area, with a fun, family-friendly festival celebrating all things San Diego surf scene. The surf-centric event will feature live music, a classic car show provided by San Diego Woodies, an art installation by local artists and an area for guests to play beach games, and more. While you’re there, be sure to pop into some of One Paseo’s beach-friendly shop staples, like Roark, Urban Beach House, and Faherty.
