Go Skating at The Del

Skating with ocean views? Only at the Hotel del Coronado. Their iconic Skating by the Sea experience is back, letting you glide around a beachfront rink framed by palm trees and Pacific sunsets.

A portion of proceeds benefits Make-A-Wish® San Diego, so it’s feel-good fun all around. Want to level up the experience? Book a Frostbite Lounge spot—think plush seating, fire pits, festive drinks, and shareable bites—or catch the rinkside action from Sun Deck, Babcock & Story Bar, or Serẽa.

See the Bay Lit Up

San Diego’s favorite boat parade is cruising back into town, and this year it’s going out of this world. The San Diego Bay Parade of Lights is lighting up the bay with a theme of An Out of This World Christmas—so expect boats decked out with glowing lights, spacey vibes, and maybe even a green alien or two wearing a Santa hat.

This free event is a holiday tradition for a reason, with around 80 boats floating by and plenty of good vibes to go around. Stake out a spot at Cesar Chavez Park—the parade passes by there before heading toward Coronado, and it’s usually a little less crowded.
