Blanco Tacos And Tequila Brings Fresh Mexican And Premium Tequila To Fashion Valley Mall

San Diego’s malls are definitely leveling up their food and drink game (Raised by Wolves, Great Maple, True Food Kitchen and more at UTC Mall!), and Blanco Tacos and Tequila has added a fresh new face to the Fashion Valley Mall!

We were able to attend the opening of Blanco Tacos and Tequila, and we came away with two major impressions:

1. The food and drinks at this place is great!

2. Fox Restaurant Concepts, the owners of Blanco, know how to open a restaurant!

First, The Food and Drinks

Blanco Tacos and Tequila serves up some of the freshest, tastiest Mexican food we’ve had – no question. Everything from the chips and guacamole to the tacos and fajitas were amazing.

While there is a lot of great Mexican food in San Diego, what stands out about Blanco Tacos and Tequila’s food is the quality of the ingredients. Unlike many Mexican food restaurants, a meal at Blanco feels like it’s as good for you as it is tasty! This shouldn’t come as too big of a surprise, given that Fox Restaurants Concepts’ founder Sam Fox also founded True Food Kitchen and Flower Child.

The drinks are also as tasty, fresh and real as you are going to find! If you prefer your margs to be made with fresh squeezed lime juice and premium tequilas – this is your place!

Service That Impresses!

Take it from someone that visits a lot of new restaurants: Blanco Tacos & Tequila and their owners at Fox Restaurant Concepts are serious about service! This was the best restaurant opening we’ve seen in a long time.

We’ve all been to a new restaurant that is clearly understaffed and not practiced enough to handle the volume of customers coming through their doors; that’s not at all what we experienced at Blanco.

Every new restaurant has its things to figure out in terms of timing and staff preparation, but Blanco made up for any of that by having a large, friendly staff on hand that was clearly ready to serve.

Tacos, Tequila, And Excellent Service. Enough Said.
