Back To The Sixties Concert To Benefit Wounded Warrior Homes
Travel back to a different generation of music at the Back to the Sixties concert to benefit Wounded Warrior Homes (WWH), a non-profit organization located right here in north county San Diego. Without donations and benefit concerts, WWH would not be able to provide those services to our veterans. This concert is an excellent way to give financial support and have a great time!
Headliner: Larry Tamblyn of the Standells
The song “Dirty Water” from 1966 was a big hit then, and still today resonates with all who love sixties rock and roll music. The headlining act, Larry Tamblyn, co-Founder of The Standells, will perform all his hit songs and more at the Star Theatre in Oceanside.
Cannibal and the Headhunters
This act will stir up your teenage emotions and will bring you back to memories of your first love, or your first rock and roll show that you attended as a teenager. Everyone from 50-80 will remember the Los Angeles singing sensation, Cannibal and the Headhunters. In 1966, the song was their first big hit. In the sixties they opened for the Beatles on tour. They are still performing and wowing their audiences nationwide.
The Original Starfires
The Original Starfires came to life in 2018 as an All-Star group drawing former members of national recording artists who have toured with countless nationally-acclaimed superstars from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. The diversity and magic of this extraordinary group give contemporary audiences a night to remember!
