Batch 22 + Terra American Bistro Team Up For A First-Of-Its-Kind Dinner Pairing
Award-winning spirit, Batch 22 (2022 Specialty Spirit of the Year, New Orleans Spirits Competition & Platinum Medal, L.A. Spirits Awards) is teaming up with acclaimed San Diego chef, Jeff Rossman, of Terra American Bistro in La Mesa to present a first-of-its-kind dinner pairing.
The Batch 22 + Terra American Bistro dinner pairing will feature four main courses and will be paired with four different expressions of New American Aquavit, Batch 22, including Batch 22’s award-winning, Classic Gold, and three of which are from the company’s private reserve stock and are not available to the general public.
Menu highlights
The multi-course dinner will include Dill and Fennel Cured Salmon Crostini accompanied by the Aurora Borealis Cocktail made with Batch 22 Classic Gold, grapefruit, lime juice and prosecco.
- First course will feature Burrata Ravioli with shitake mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and shallots accompanied by the Terra Firma Cocktail made with Batch 22 Classic Gold, campari and elderflower liquer.
- Second course will be Grilled Shrimp on Polenta with griddled tomato, corn and avocado sauce accompanied by the Batch 22 Jalapeno-Cucumber Mule made with spicy Batch 22, lime juice and ginger beer.
- Third course will be a White Wine Braised Leg of Lamb with grilled fennel, orange, garlic, olives and Manchego mashed potatoes accompanied by the B&T cocktail with Rosemary Batch 22 and tonic.
To end the night, Flourless Chocolate Cake with Rooibos tea sorbet in a tuille will be served and accompanied by The Batch Lebowski Cocktail made with Vanilla-Rooibos Batch 22, espresso beans and cream.
