The Guild Hotel Kicks Off New Cocktail Exploration Series Featuring Batch 22

The Guild Hotel, a stately cornerstone of San Diego’s downtown, is kicking off a new cocktail exploration series on Saturday, October 22, featuring Batch 22, the award-winning new American aquavit.

Taking place in The Guild Hotel’s luxurious designed bar, attendees will have a chance to sip on unique cocktails from the first featured spirit of this series, Batch 22. Recently launched in June, Batch 22 is a smooth, complex and magical grain-based spirit with a flavor profile unlike any other spirit on the market and the winner of the 2022 Specialty Spirit of the Year, New Orleans Spirits Competition and Platinum Medal, L.A. Spirits Awards.

Batch 22’s unique flavors and aromas are the base spirit for this immersive cocktail experience, where the bar team at The Guild has created a cultivated cocktail menu with three cocktails for guests to sip exclusively during this event.

The cocktails include Crush 22 made with Batch 22, lavender liqueur, lemon, honey and garnished with lavender spear, Big Batch Energy made with Batch 22, Hennessy, sweet vermouth and bitters garnished with lemon zest and The Guilded Mule made with Batch 22, vodka, ginger beer and lime garnished with mint.

Tickets are available for $35 and include all three Batch 22 cocktails, small bites from The Guild Bar and a chance to mix and mingle with the founders of Batch 22 during a tasting demo where guests can sample the spirit on its own. Guests must be 21+ to attend and can purchase tickets here.
