Tacotarian Launches New Plant-Based Burger Concept In San Diego, Underground Burgers

Tacotarian has launched a new plant-based concept out of their North Park location called Underground Burgers, offering 100% plant-based, crave-worthy burgers, tots, fries and shakes. Their patties are made from a blend of impossible meat, mushrooms and their proprietary spices.

Tacotarian started Underground Burger during the 2020 lockdown as a way to provide their staff with additional hours and income. “We wanted to create a crave-worthy burger that was saucy and delicious. From there, it became so popular that we decided to keep it going at our Southwest Las Vegas location and we’re now bringing this concept to San Diego,” said co-founder Kristen Corral.

Underground Burgers is located inside Tacotarian’s North Park location at 4332 30th Street, San Diego, CA. It’s also available on Uber Eats.
