San Diego Museum of Art Membership Prices Changing Soon

San Diego Museum of Art is adjusting membership prices starting January 1, 2026, but if you renew before December 31, you can lock in your current price for another year plus get two extra months free with code RENEW25.

With new pricing starting at just $100, membership remains an exceptional value – including admission to two world-class museums (San Diego Museum of Art and The Museum of Photographic Arts), guest passes, discounts, member events, free admission for children, and more.

Your Individual ($100) or Dual ($175) membership pays for itself in less than three visits.

Membership Levels and Benefits

Members who want deeper engagement will find opportunities at Friend ($250) and Sponsor ($500) levels, including special lectures, receptions, and tours.

Gallery Collective ($420) is a social membership level that digs into the San Diego art scene both at the Museum and out in the city. The new Ambassador ($1,000) level offers recognition in the Member Magazine and invitations to select donor events. Circle ($2,500-$50,000) is for members who wish to sustain the Museum and its mission with the deepest philanthropic benefit.

The membership discount for seniors (65+), educators, active and veteran military, and students (with ID) will also increase to $25 on January 1, 2026. One discount per membership/household, Individual and Dual levels only, not valid with other promotions.

Gift Membership for the Holidays

Membership makes a great gift – you’re giving access to two museums, exhibitions, events, and the entire art experience rather than just a single item. It’s the kind of gift that keeps delivering value throughout the year.

Centennial Year Events

Members should mark their calendars for the Centennial Celebration on February 28, 2026, and featured Centennial exhibitions throughout the year:

Art Alive 2023 at The San Diego Museum of Art

See you there!

Renew your membership before December 31 with code RENEW25, gift a membership this holiday season, or upgrade your level to enjoy SDMA’s Centennial year.
