A holiday celebrated with family gatherings, feasts and traditional customs, San Diego’s captivatingly elegant Animae is pulling out all the stops for a memorable Lunar New Year. Offering special menu items and chef-curated baskets, Animae fans can choose to celebrate at the restaurant or in the comfort of their own home.

Chef Tara’s special menu items will include Steamed Fish with shishitos, ginger, soy, radish, onion, lemon, chili oil; Spicy Lamb Noodles with garlic chive noodles, cumin, cilantro; along with Coconut Semifreddo with coconut mochi, mango calamansi sauce, mango tuile, coconut pop rocks for dessert.

Grab One Of Chef Tara’s Curated Baskets

If you’re unable to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit at Animae, order one of Chef Tara’s curated baskets to ring in the Lunar New Year at home. As is customary, each basket will feature a variety of fruits including persimmons, tangerines, dragon fruit, starfruit, pomelo, ceremonial grade matcha from PARU tea, a bottle of Hennessy VSOP, a figurine, red envelopes and a $50 Animae gift card!

Baskets are priced at $288 and can be ordered through the website, HERE, to be picked up at Animae on Friday, January 27 for your Lunar New Year celebrations!
