Halloween Fun at Birch Acquarium

Birch Aquarium is lighting up the night with electrifying events that’ll have you seeing the ocean in a whole new light.

Birch Aquarium Halloween season

Bioluminescent Brilliance

The brand-new Living Light Experience is bringing the mysterious glow of the ocean depths right to your fingertips. Wave your hand, and suddenly, plankton light up like tiny underwater fireflies. It’s not magic—it’s science, and it’s absolutely mesmerizing.

Under UV light, corals and anemones transform into a technicolor wonderland that’ll make you feel like you’ve stumbled into an underwater rave.

Halloween Aglow: Family-Friendly Fright Night

Calling all mini marine biologists and their grown-ups! On October 25 and 26, from 6 to 8:30 PM, Halloween Aglow is turning Birch Aquarium into the coolest trick-or-treating spot in town.

We’re talking all the Halloween fun with an extra dose of ocean science that’ll blow your kids’ minds (and maybe yours too). It’s like sneaking veggies into Halloween candy—educational but so fun they won’t even notice they’re learning.

Oceans at Night: Halloween Edition for the Grown-Ups

Get your ghoul on October 24, from 6:30 to 9:30 PM, at Oceans at Night: Halloween. This 21+ crowd event is mixing up some spooky science with craft cocktails, live tunes, and games.

It’s the perfect excuse to dust off that mermaid costume you’ve been saving for a special occasion.
